Adopt a Bee is a fun motion graphic that promotes environmentalism on social media.

The project is an animated GIF design for Greenpeace as part of their “Adopt a Bee” campaign, which aims to raise funds for the protection of bees and other pollinators. The playful and eye-catching stop-motion animation serves to promote the campaign on social media platforms by grabbing the viewer’s attention with movement and bright colors as they scroll along their social media feed, while at the same time taking advantage of the visibility that content algorithms give to motion graphics.

“Adopt A Bee” is a social media campaign run by Greenpeace since 2013, thanks to which thousands of people get involved in helping bees, and Poland is slowly but surely becoming more friendly to pollinators. Thanks to virtual “adoptions” on adoptujpszczole.pl, everyone has a chance to help wild pollinators.
